These terms apply when you use the StockTally website, web application or mobile applications. By creating an account or using StockTally, you agree to these terms.

Using StockTally

You must provide accurate account information, protect your login details and use StockTally lawfully. You must not attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the service, upload unlawful material or misuse another person's information.

Your business records

You retain responsibility for the information you enter and for maintaining appropriate backups. StockTally is a productivity tool, not accounting, tax or legal advice. You must verify inventory, invoices, calculations, tax treatment and other records before relying on them.

Free access and trials

StockTally may offer guest access, free features or a complimentary trial. Current eligibility, duration and feature limits are shown in the app. A complimentary trial created directly by StockTally does not automatically become a paid subscription unless you separately purchase a plan through the applicable checkout.

Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through the platform or payment provider shown at purchase. Prices, billing periods, renewal and any introductory offer are displayed before confirmation. Store subscriptions generally renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple or Google account before renewal. Store rules govern billing, cancellation and refunds.

Availability and changes

We may maintain, update, replace or discontinue features. Availability can be affected by devices, networks, third-party services, maintenance or events outside our reasonable control. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Intellectual property

StockTally software, branding and website content are protected by intellectual-property law. These terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, StockTally is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, business interruption or loss caused by inaccurate user-entered information. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or your statutory consumer rights.

Termination

You may stop using StockTally at any time. We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, unlawful use, serious breach of these terms or protection of other users and the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Scottish courts will have jurisdiction where legally permitted.
